Nima Shajarian, MS
Nima is a graduate student in the La Spada Lab. He has always been interested in microglia, the primary immune cells of the brain, and their involvement in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Currently, he is investigating how TFEB, the master regulator of lysosomal biogenesis, affects microglial biology in both physiological and pathological conditions.
